Julia Ackermann

Julia Ackermann

has organized many international conferences, virtual meetings and symposia. As a political scientist, she also provides content-related contributions to the conception of events. Among other things, she is responsible for managing external service providers, supports national and international stakeholders from politics, civil society, business and science and ensures efficient team coordination before and during events. Julia Ackermann is co-founder and quality manager at greenstorming GmbH.

Nikolaus Bender

Nikolaus Bender

has been part of the greenstorming team since March 2017. Since then, he has gained a lot of experience in organizing face-to-face events as well as hybrid and virtual events. He graduated in economics with a focus on social sciences at the University of Potsdam and a master's degree in economics at the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee in the USA. Before joining greenstorming, he supported the press and public relations work of the development policy lobby and campaign organization ONE.

Phillip Handy

has been working at greenstorming since 2017 in the sustainably oriented planning and implementation of virtual, hybrid and face-to-face events. In doing so, he draws on extensive experience in intercultural contexts as well as in dealing with governmental and civil society institutions. He graduated from the University of Cambridge with a bachelor's degree in Politics and International Relations and subsequently completed the postgraduate program in European Studies at the Freie Universität Berlin. After working during his studies at the European Academy Berlin and the Institute for European Politics (IEP) in Berlin, he went through the Blue Book Internship Program of the European Commission. Before joining greenstorming, he worked at an artificial intelligence and machine learning start-up in Cambridge. At greenstorming, he coordinates safety and hygiene measures in the context of Covid-19.

 

Bente Hansen

Bente Hansen

has been part of the greenstorming team since October 2012 and has since been in charge of organizing various events in the political and civil society sector. Her tasks include invitation and participant management as well as budget control and coordination of external service providers throughout the entire project period. Her expertise lies in both face-to-face formats but also in virtual and hybrid events. Before joining greenstorming, she worked as a political scientist for several years in international projects in Germany and abroad. Bente Hansen is the data protection officer at greenstorming GmbH.

 

Thomas Kluchert

has been part of the greenstorming team since August 2018. Since then, he has gained extensive experience in the organization of virtually or hybrid organized sustainable events. After completing his master's degree in political science and history, he supported, among other things, the strategic and operational management of the environmental division of Deutsche Bahn and planned, organized, and implemented conferences, press events, workshops, and campaigns for several years in a communications agency. Thomas Kluchert is the contact person for all questions regarding event security at greenstorming GmbH.

 

Charles de Pury (on parental leave)

studied music education with a focus on composition at the Conservatoire de Musique in Geneva. In the years of organizing and supervising international cultural events and concerts and leading an internationally engaged choir, he combined his passion for music with his joy in planning and implementing virtual as well as face-to-face events. Having already supported greenstorming as a freelancer at numerous events since 2015, he has been a permanent employee of greenstorming GmbH since September 2018.

Alin Roessler

Alin Roessler

has been working at greenstorming since April 2018. Since then, she has been supporting the team with regard to all event formats - virtual, hybrid or presence format, from preparation to implementation and follow-up. Before joining greenstorming, she studied Sustainable Tourism Management (M.A.) at the Eberswalde University for Sustainable Development and subsequently gained professional experience in the incoming sector and in tourism associations. Alin Rößler supported, among others, the German Tourism Association in organizing seminars and worked as a coordinator of association-related events for Reisenetz, the German professional association for youth travel in Berlin. At greenstorming, she is responsible for the focus on barrier-free event planning.

 

Petra Rosenzweig

has been supporting greenstorming at numerous events since 2016 and has been working as a permanent member of our team since 2020. During her studies of nutritional sciences, she was able to gain a lot of experience at trade fairs, congresses and many other events in her part-time jobs. Here she supported not only in the implementation but also in the entire preparation and follow-up. Sustainability is an important topic for Petra: since 2012, she has been actively involved in the organization Foodsharing e.V. to prevent food waste and has been a participant in the Slow Food Youth Academy since 2020.

 

Christopher Schumann

Christopher Schumann

has many years of experience in conceptual consulting as well as preparation and implementation of virtual and face-to-face seminars, conferences and international events - both in an academic context and for ministries, international organizations and other political institutions. His professional and methodological advice is based, among other things, on his education as an economist and on his experience as an event manager, especially in the field of development and environmental policy. Christopher Schumann is managing director of greenstorming GmbH.

Cornelia Wiemeyer

Julia Werner

has been part of the greenstorming team since August 2019. Since then, she has gained a lot of experience both in the virtual event space and in face-to-face events. After studying History and North American Studies, she worked in academia and was involved in the conceptualization, preparation and implementation of international academic conferences and meetings as a research assistant and fellow. She also worked for many years as "German Communications Coordinator" for the Wendemuseum, Los Angeles. Afterwards she worked as "Editorial Associate" for an Israeli startup. Julia Werner is greenstorming's anti-discrimination officer.

 

Cornelia Wiemeyer

Cornelia Wiemeyer

brings not only her organizational skills but also in-depth expertise as a political scientist to the table, so that the conception and implementation of both virtual and face-to-face events go hand in hand. She has many years of experience in the preparation, organization and implementation of smaller workshops, event series and high-level policy dialogues with a few to several 1,000 participants. In addition, Cornelia has extensive experience in the implementation of virtual and hybrid events. Cornelia is managing partner of greenstorming GmbH.
